Hearing is one of the main ways we connect with others and hearing loss can be incredibly hard to deal with. Our free hearing tests are designed to identify any hearing loss so we can find the best way to aid and correct it. We have an experienced audiologist on staff who is available to carry out thorough hearing tests at our practice here in Stalybridge.
WAX REMOVAL
One of the most common causes of hearing loss is the overproduction of earwax. While a certain amount of earwax is perfectly normal and healthy, too much can cause significant hearing loss. We offer wax removal procedures so you can safely and easily get rid of ear wax and enjoy greatly improved hearing.
HEARING DEVICE AFTERCARE
After you get a hearing device you might worry that it will stop working over time or your hearing will get worse. Our aftercare service is designed to ensure that your hearing device is still the best option for you. Aftercare appointments include a hearing check-up and device assessment while also giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you might have.

Matt Has been qualified as an Audiologist since 2013, after studying at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. He has worked in both the private and NHS sectors during this time, and is also qualified in wax removal via microsuction.
Matt likes spending time getting to know his patients well, in order to ensure they are provided with the right care, and the most suitable hearing instruments and solutions to help improve their everyday life. Helping patients hear better in situations specific to them is the most satisfying part of his job.
In his spare time, Matt plays bass guitar in a band and was proud to release an album a couple of years ago. He also enjoys spending time and traveling with his young family and their dog Pinto. When he’s not busy, Matt will happily sit and watch any sport on TV for hours, especially cricket!
